Dear emX-visitors, we are very happy to inform you that at this very moment a new version of Emergency is in development stage. So yes indeed, there will be a fifth part of the successful Emergency series, but no it won't be called "Emergency 5". The official German name for the game is "Emergency 2012 - Die Welt am Abgrund". The game will be developed by Quadriga Games, located in Bablesberg/Potsdam (near Berlin) under the supervision of Ralph Stock -indeed, the Ralph Stock from SixteenTons Entertainment- and not by SixteenTons Entertainment itself, which was the former developer of the follwoing Emergency titles: Emergency - Fighters for Life (1998), Emergency Police (2000), Emergency 2 - The ultimate fight for life (2002), Emergency 2 - Deluxe Edition (2003), Emergency 3 - Mission Life (2005), Emergency 4 - Global Fighter for Life (2006), Emergency 4 - Deluxe Edition and Emergency 4 - Gold Edition.

Quadriga Games chose Deep Silver as publisher for Emergency 2012 and  Trinigy Vision for its engine. The release is planned for the fourth quarter of this year, and the first screenshots will be made public in April. Deep Silver will publish Emergency 2012 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Scandinavia and other european countries.

In consequence of this news, we have decided to start from scratch with the development of a new emergencyX.com-site. A designer has been contacted last week and we will start with brainstorming about the new site (design, identity, functions, CMS-system, etc.) on March 08. 

So now to my apologies: yes we are a bit late with this announcement. We could have reported about this major development 14 days ago. But due to different circumstances, i.e. workload and one member being in the United Arab Emirates, we were not able to post any earlier. To prevent this happening in the future, we directly took actions and asked one of our loyal emX-visitors -who contacted us multiple times in the past via mail and who reminded us of the release of Emergency 2012- if he was interested in being the new (apprentice) team member of emX. We also mentioned his name in previous posts: Carl Holt. As of this day, we are very happy to announce that Carl Holt will put his shoulders under the emX-project and join our team. As a result, the emX staff is now formed by three people from around Europe (Belgium, Sweden and the United Kingdom).

Dear users, the "Emergency 4 Fanforum" has set up a new download database with all kinds of downloads from Emergency 1 up to Emergency 4.

Also we want to inform you that the famous Emergency 4 Winterberg modification has been brought to a new level. They added lots of realistic functions to the modification which lets you expirience a whole other gameplay.
